Cheryl Teo is a Singaporean fashion textiles designer who experiments with various creative techniques to produce unique and contemporary textile prints that are meaningful. From a young age, she enjoyed drawing and painting in her free time. As she grew older, she loved clothes and the idea of it transforming how a person felt and looked. After completing her A’Levels at Junior College, she took a Degree course in LASALLE College of the Arts and majored in Fashion Textiles Design.

Creating textile designs allows her to express herself and tell a story through the work she produces. She is trained in areas such as textile print designs, surface manipulation and embroidery, to name a few. Her design aesthetic summed up in three words would be bold, bright and contemporary. She enjoys working with new techniques like digital printing, silkscreen printing and laser cutting because they open up fresh possibilities for fabrication.
